I have a 9-5 job as an employment advisor. But it’s a contract post and we never know when the funding is going to run out. I work Slivers partly as insurance, I need lots of skills and experience if I suddenly find myself on the job market in a few months. I also do it for the top-up cash. If it wasn’t for Slivers I’d be trying to get evening work some other way.

So far, I’ve done a lot of bookings for supermarkets around Liverpool. I’ve been doing mainly stock replenishment, I’d happily work on the tills but they haven’t trained us to do that yet.

I want to expand the types of work I do through Slivers. I used to work in a call centre until I was made redundant, I could do more of that. It’s great that I can just say when I want to work and what I need to be paid. I also like looking back at the bookings I’ve done. You can click through for all the details on any of them.
