I found out about Slivers at a jobs fare. I’d just lost my job at a fast food place. Now I am on Job Seeker’s Allowance. Anything I earn through Slivers comes off my benefits but I want to keep working. I like to meet new people, try new things.

I’ve done a lot of bookings for Leeds City Council. They’re usually three hour shifts in the evening. I’ve done cleaning and I get booked for five different buildings around the Civic Centre. I also do the libraries. I clean offices and toilets and empty the bins, that sort of thing.

I’d like to move into caretaking type work and this is good experience. I haven’t got a computer at home. I have to go the library to change my availability. I have a certificate in IT so it was easy to understand the Slivers site.
