I am a Jehovah’s Witness. We have a scheme called “Pioneers” for which you’re asked to volunteer for 70 hours a month. I also have a part time job as a receptionist. It’s been hard for me to find more work that fits around all that. I was doing some web design work but I was made redundant from that.

I found out about Slivers through searching for agency work on the web. So far, I’ve done bookings for housing associations. They often need someone to wait in an empty property until the meter readers or a repairer turns up. I just get the keys from reception then follow a map to the house. When I’m there it’s great, I study for my ministry in an empty house for a couple of hours until the booking is complete.

I think the SoT system is incredible. I like the control it gives me. I like the way it’s all customizable. I found it very simple to use. As Slivers takes off in Leeds I plan to do more and more bookings.
