I needed to work around my son who has a medical condition. I had to give up my job. It was really pressured. It’s such a good idea to be able to decide the hours you want to work each day. I like long bookings. I’ve just finished one with 14 shifts!

My mate told me about Slivers. I didn’t know much about computers but she showed me how the system works and I soon picked it up. Now I’ve taught my older son how to find work this way. I am keen to learn more about computers.

I want to do clerical work. Most of my bookings have been for Housing Associations. At the moment I am working for East Thames Housing. They are moving offices and my work is to go through an archive of old documents. I have to decide what to file, what to scan and what to throw away.
