I was managing a shop, but I really want to be long haul cabin crew. I went back to college to do a cabin crew course but I couldn’t get a grant because I already have an NVQ in retail management. I signed up for Slivers so I could earn around my lectures and periods of studying. I’ve been doing a lot of bookings for the Council, cleaning the Town Hall in the evenings.

I really enjoy my Slivers bookings. Everyone at the council is very nice and it feels like I’ve been here ages. At the moment I just want to work in the early evenings. I like the way I can just decide when I want to work. I might re-jig the times I do my studying so I can work in the mornings in the next few weeks.

I don’t have a computer at home. I have to go to my Mum’s house. At first I couldn’t make my way round the site easily. But I think I was being a bit thick. It’s fine now.
