It's hard to find a job. I knew I needed experience, so I decided to do volunteer work. I went round the charity shops offering to work for them and spent two weeks working in one shop. I also did three weeks unpaid work in a Primary School
My cousin heard about Slivers-of-Time Working and told me. I have been booked for the NHS doing health promotion to people in the street. I have also worked for a cinema. I loved that. I had to check tickets and people's ID. There were a bunch of us working as a team
I do want a job. I used to want to be a nurse, but now I want to be a primary school teacher. Right now, I am still building my experience. I hope I can work also in shops and offices through Slivers. I live with my Mum at the moment, but I will move out when I get a job.
